I remember reflecting on history at one time where I said if the United Kingdom ever succumbs to the evil lure of globalism and refuses to act proud and independent, then the Western world may well be lost. It would appear, barring a miracle, that the news will reflect a victory for “remain” and the British empire which was once a proud lion, will instead join the world community of cowardly lions which submit to every whim of the global banking syndicates.
Of course David Cameron is proud of this achievement of becoming more French by surrendering to the Germans.
And thus far the latest news can be summed up as such (via the UK Telegraph):
- New YouGov poll: Remain 52%, Leave 48%
- Nigel Farage concedes Remain looks set to win
Of course after that first bit of news via the UK Telegraph, then this Tweet via ITV in England throws everything back into a tizzy:
Standby as more news hits the fan, I shall try to present it here as this will be a long night and morning for everyone watching this circus. God help the markets though if we get a shocker overnight, but I’m not counting on it.

Interesting take (via the UK Telegraph):

Theresa Villiers, the eurosceptic Northern Ireland Secretary, says: “My instinct is Remain have won. I would put it down to Project Fear succeeding.”
Mrs Villiers says that “whatever the result” David Cameron should stay on as Prime Minister.
“The Prime Minister is the best man for the job,” she says.
